Making A Classic Bloody Mary Cocktail Drink

A Bloody Mary is a classic cocktail that typically includes vodka, tomato juice, and various seasonings and flavorings. Here's a step-by-step process for making a Bloody Mary:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka

  • 3 oz tomato juice

  • 1/2 oz lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

  • A few dashes of hot sauce (adjust to taste)

  • A few dashes of Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Celery salt or regular salt for rimming the glass (optional)

  • Ice cubes

  • Garnishes: Celery stick, lemon wedge, olives, pickles, etc.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glass:

  • If desired, rim the edge of a tall glass with celery salt or regular salt. Moisten the rim with a lemon wedge, then dip it into the salt.

  1. Fill the Glass with Ice:

  • Fill the prepared glass with ice cubes. This helps keep the drink cold.

  1. Add Vodka:

  • Pour 1 1/2 oz of vodka into the glass.

  1. Pour Tomato Juice:

  • Add 3 oz of tomato juice to the glass.

  1. Squeeze Lemon Juice:

  • Squeeze the juice of half a lemon (about 1/2 oz) into the glass. You can adjust the amount based on your taste preferences.

  1. Add Hot Sauce:

  • Add a few dashes of hot sauce to the mixture. The amount can be adjusted depending on your spice tolerance.

  1. Add Worcestershire Sauce:

  • Add a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce for depth of flavor. Adjust to taste.

  1. Season with Salt and Pepper:

  • Season the drink with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.

  1. Stir and Garnish:

  • Stir the Bloody Mary mixture well with a stirring stick. Garnish with a celery stick, lemon wedge, olives, or any other preferred garnish.

  1. Serve:

  • Serve the Bloody Mary immediately.

Tips:

  • Adjust the ingredients to suit your taste preferences, especially the level of spiciness.

  • You can customize your garnishes based on what you have available or your personal preferences.

Enjoy your Bloody Mary responsibly!
